Women in the forefront of Covid Vaccines
We have been reading (and discussing here on QVW) a lot about how the Covid pandemic has disproportionately affected women in a negative way (see our blog post on work-life balance and another forum post on suicides).
The role of women in fighting the pandemic as healthcare providers and first responders around the world cannot be highlighted enough, juggling their duty toward the community and their families, many times as sole providers.
The talk now has turned to vaccines and the modalities and logistics within. As governments grapple with vaccine rollout, some heartening news has also come to light regarding the role women have played in creating the vaccines.
